The new work will be drawn on sepia mylars made from the as -built drawings <br />provided by Owner. The reason for this is to avoid having to redraw the complete floor <br />plans and roof plan and therefore minimize the costs to Owner. <br />These services and the corresponding fees will be charged as follows: <br />Preparation of Construction Documents — A Lump Sum of $12,000.00 <br />If additional services are required, the Owner will be billed as per attached SCP <br />STANDARD BILLING RATES CALENDAR YEAR 1999. <br />Our construction administration effort will be limited to review of shop drawings, <br />answering RFI's, a site visit as outlined above, and a final punch list. Bidding will be <br />handled by the Owner. <br />Reimbursable expenses related to the project will include out-of-town travel, long <br />distance communications, reproductions, plotting, and shipping. These expenses will be <br />invoiced at 1.1 times the actual invoice. <br />The project schedule is a critical component of our fee quotation. The following <br />schedule is proposed: SCP will provide a complete set of construction documents (3) <br />weeks after receiving Owner's approval to proceed and the set of as -built drawings. <br />This proposal is based on several assumptions regarding project size, budget, schedule <br />and the requested scope of work. Adjustments to this proposal may be possible after <br />further study or clarification of the scope with the information obtained in the as-builts <br />documents and the initial site verification. We appreciate the opportunity to provide <br />professional services to Indian River County and look forward to working with you. <br />If this proposal is acceptable, we will be pleased to begin work upon receipt of your <br />signed acknowledgement below and the as-builts documents. Payments are due and <br />payable 10 days from the date of invoice.
