El <br />• <br />�Mz r CONTRACTOR'S performance of the Work. <br />n 6.20 During the progress of the Work, CONTRACTOR shall keep the premises free From accumulations <br />of waste materials, rubbish and other debris resulting from the Work. At the completion of the Work <br />CONTRACTOR shall remove all waste materials, rubbish and debris from and about the premises <br />l as well as all tools, appliances, construction equipment and machinery, and surplus materials. and <br />shall leave the site clean and ready for occupancy by OWNER. CONTRACTOR shall restore to <br />original condition all property not designed For alteration by the Contract Documents, <br />U <br />I 6.21 CONTRACTOR shall not load nor permit any part of any structure to be loaded in any manner that <br />will endanger the structure, nor shall CONTRACTOR subject any part of the Work or adjacent <br />t property to stresses or pressures that will endanger it. <br />Record Documents: <br />6.22 CONTRACTOR shall maintain in a safe place at the site one (l) record copy of all Drawings, <br />Specifications, Addenda, Written Amendments, reviewed Shop Drawings, Change Orders, Work <br />Directive Changes, Field Orders and written interpretations and clarifications (issued pursuant to <br />paragraph 9.4) in good order and annotated to show all changes made during construction. These <br />record documents together with all reviewed samples and counterpart of all reviewed Shop Drawings <br />will be available to ENGINEER for reference. Upon completion of the Work, these record <br />documents, samples and. Shop Drawings will be delivered to ENGINEER for OWNER. Upon <br />delivery of such documents to ENGINEER, the CONTRACTOR shall provide a written <br />certification, signed and dated, that all documents accurately and completely reflect all deviations <br />from or changes in the original Contract Documents made during construction of the project. <br />6.23 '1-frese requirements also supplement those of Article 14. Record documents shall be up-to-date and <br />available for review by the resident project representative prior to each application For progress <br />l payment. Payment will not be made for construction of items not shown on the record documents. <br />0.24 Not less than two percent (2%) of the contract price shall be retained until correct record drawings, <br />specifications, addenda, modifications and shop drawings are delivered to and reviewed by the <br />t ENGINEER. <br />I Safety and. Protection: <br />t <br />6.25 CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for initiating, maintaining and supervising all safety <br />precautions and programs in connection with the Work. CONTRACTOR shall take all necessary <br />t . precautions for the safety of, and shall provide the necessary protection to prevent damage, injury <br />or loss to- <br />t 6.25.1 all employees on the Work and other persons and organizations who may be aliccted <br />thereby; <br />6.25.1 all the Work and materials and equipment to be incorporated therein, whether in storage on <br />IL or off the site; and <br />6.25.3 other property at the site or adjacent thereto, including trees, shrubs, ]awns, walks, <br />pavements, roadways, structures, utilities and.
