She advised a brochure with more <br />complex information will also be available. Supervisor of <br />Elections Ann Robinson will mail absentee ballots on September 20th <br />and she would like to see the flyers mailed out about the same <br />time. Bids were obtained for 40,000 brochures, including postage, <br />2 ads in the newspaper and extra brochures for people going out to <br />make speeches, etc. Commissioner Eggert asked for up to $10,000 <br />from the contingency fund to cover these costs. <br />Chairman Adams questioned whether the funds would have to come <br />from the contingency account, and County Administrator Chandler <br />advised that would be the only -available source. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved <br />staff's recommendations regarding the tax abatement <br />fact sheet flyers and materials for more complex <br />information and approved funding in the amount of <br />$10,000 from contingencies. <br />AUGUST 13, 1996 <br />W <br />BOOK 98 F"GFU <br />
