4D <br />40 <br />D N <br />13id Item N% 01 - Evia ' `zation <br />1.1 'Scope of Work <br />Under this item, the Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and <br />incidentals necessary to furnish and install bonds and insurance, site security, staging, <br />temporary field officeltrailer, if required, personnel safety equipment, field surveying for <br />base line, construction and maintenance of temporary facilities, arrangement for <br />temporary utilities, shop drawing submittals, submittal of schedules, breakdown, <br />preconstruction documents, erosion, sediment, and dust control, and all other work <br />required for the initial start of construction. <br />1.2 Materials and Method <br />General Equipment <br />All preconstruction documents, submittals and preliminary work as described above <br />shall be provided as defined in the Contract Documents. <br />1.2.1 Mobilization includes the mobilization of all construction equipment, tools, and <br />appurtenances staffed and ready for performing the work. Mobilization also <br />includes delivery of materials and supplies needed for initiation of the work but <br />not included and paid elsewhere in the Contract documents. The provision and <br />installation of Contractor required facilities, including enclosures, trailers for <br />various activities, personnel storage sheds, as needed; and Contractor required <br />services including telephones, electricity, water and sanitary facilities, etc., are <br />also included under Bid Item NMobil izatiol . <br />1.2.2 The provision of safety equipment 1.nd protective clothing for persons on-site, <br />including maintenance of equipment on a daily basis; and replacement of <br />disposable equipment, as required. <br />1.2.3 Construction of Equipment and Staging Supply Area. <br />1.2.4 Provisions for an office trailer (if required), utilities and equipment for <br />t- Contractor personnel activities.. <br />1.2.5 Arrangements for the temporary construction of any roads, embankments, fence <br />gates or excavations, if needed.
