4b <br />40 <br />M <br />Did Item No. 05 - F=orce Account (Cont]ngcncvl <br />1.1 Scone of Work <br />Under Bid It= No --U Eprce Account (Conlin lI the Contractor shall furnish all <br />labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary to perform additional work = covered by <br />specific items in the technical specifications, as ordered by the Engineer. <br />1.2 a te r 1 flLa r dIetho <br />Under this Bid Item No. Q - Force Acc nali all provisions as <br />incorporated in the fallowing specifications: Materials, Labor Costs, Sales Tax, Equipment and <br />Plant Rental, Profit and Overhead and Reports shall apply for that wont not covered by contract <br />a4 work items, as ordered by the Engineer. <br />I 1.2.1 Materials <br />1.2.1.1 Necessary materials (including transportation to site). Materials used, if acquired <br />by direct purchase, must be covered by receipts or acceptable invoices. All <br />prices on used materials incorporated in either temporary or permanent work- <br />shall <br />orkshall be billed at a fair market value, and in an amount less than the original cost <br />when new. The Contractor shall give a reasonable salvage credit to the Owner <br />for all salvageable material recovered by him. Salvage value of substantial <br />material recovered must be jointly determined by and be acceptable to the <br />Contractor and the Engineer. <br />1.2.2 Labor Costs <br />1.2.2.1 Necessary total labor charges for only all labor directly engaged on the force <br />account work, and for foremen in direct charge of the specific operations. <br />Each class of labor shall be billed separately at actual payroll rates. Average <br />payroll rates based on different classes of labor will not be accepted. Total <br />labor costs shall include Workmen's Compensation Insurance, public liability <br />and property damage insurance, unemployment insurance, Federal old -age <br />benefits, other payroll taxes an(] payments required to be made to labor <br />organizations under existing labor agreements, and the rates for such costs <br />shall be substantiated by satisfactory evidence furnished by the Contractor. <br />1.2.3 Sales Taxes <br />1.2.3.1 Sales.
