Permission to Inter -Fund Borrow Money for PEP Reef <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 8/14/96: <br />TO: Members of the Board <br />of County Commissioners <br />DATE: August 14, 1996 <br />SUBJECT: PERMISSION TO INTER -FUND BORROW MONEY <br />FOR PEP REEF - CONSENT AGENDA <br />FROM: Joseph A. Bair <br />OMB Director <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Staff is requesting permission to inter -fund borrow money on a short term basis until the County <br />issues bonds. The funds we borrow from will be paid an interest rate equal to what the County earns <br />on it's investments at the S.B.A. (State Board of Administration). <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The Board of County Commissioners grant staff permission to inter -fund borrow money on a short . <br />term basis. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously granted <br />permission to staff to inter -fund borrow money on a <br />short term basis, as recommended by OMB Director <br />Baird. <br />SHERIFF WHEELER'S REQUEST TO USE REVENUES FROM <br />HOUSING BROWARD COUNTY PRISONERS TO SUPPLEMENT <br />DEPARTMENT BUDGET <br />'The Board reviewed the following letter dated 8/16/96: <br />29 <br />AUGUST 20, 1996 <br />
