4i <br />7 <br />ESF #2 Communications - Indian River County Department of <br />Emergency Services, <br />Emergency Management Division and <br />Radiological Emergency Preparedness Division. <br />To provide emergency radio and telephone communications <br />services to organizations involved in the response and recovery <br />operation and to support the private sector in restoration of the <br />affected public grids. <br />ESF # 3 Public Works and Engineerin - Indian River County Public <br />Works Department <br />To evaluate infrastructure damage and coordinate emergency <br />debris clearing of essential roads. Will also coordinate emergency <br />contracting, engineering services, and demolitions. <br />ESF #4 Firefighting - Indian River County Department of <br />Emergency Services, Fire Services Division <br />To detect and suppress wildland, rural and urban fires. Also, to <br />provide incident management teams to assist in command and <br />control operations. Directs all search and rescue operations. <br />ESF #5 Information and Planning -Indian River County Department <br />of Emergency Services, Emergency Management Division <br />To collect, analyze and disseminate critical information on <br />emergency operations for decision-making purposes. <br />ESF #6 Mass Care - American Red Cross - Indian River County <br />Chapter <br />To manage and coordinate shelters, feeding and first aid for <br />disaster victims. <br />ESF #7 Resource Support - Indian River County Department of <br />Emergency Services, Emergency Management Division <br />To secure resources through mutual aid agreements, or procure <br />resources for other ESFs as needed. <br />t, <br />Indian River County Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan Basic Page 55
