CCNA2023 Work Order #3 <br />Indian River Greenway Boardwalk <br />Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. <br />Task 2 — Civil Engineering Design Services <br />Bowman will prepare construction plans illustrating the alignment, profile, and section views of the proposed <br />boardwalk. The structural design of the proposed boardwalk will be prepared by the Contractor. <br />Under this task Bowman shall: <br />1. Prepare engineering drawings anticipated to include: <br />a. Cover Sheet; <br />b. Construction Notes; <br />c. Plan and Profile View; <br />d. Construction Details including Cross -Sections and Material Specifications. <br />2. Coordinate with Parks & Rec Staff during the design process. Meet to discuss draft boardwalk alignment <br />and tree mitigation. <br />3. Provide an engineer's opinion of estimated construction cost at the 90% design milestone. Final estimate <br />will match bid schedule. <br />4. Field review design/plans at 90% complete milestone to compare with site conditions. In-house plan <br />checking and respond to Client comments and prepare final drawings and specifications. <br />**Add Administrative Approval or5ite Plan approval to this task if necessary. ** <br />Task 3 — Permit Support <br />Parks, Recreation & Conservation Staff shall obtain required jurisdictional permits from Army Corps of Engineers <br />(ACOE) and the St Johns River Water Management District (SJRWMD). Bowman will prepare exhibits (i.e.: maps <br />and sketch plans) as requested by Staff to support the permit applications. <br />This task shall not include building department permits required to authorize construction of the boardwalk <br />structure. Building permits shall be obtained by the contractor. <br />Task 4 - Bidding Services <br />Bidding Services shall include attendance of the pre-bid conference, respond to contractor's bid questions, and <br />preparation of addenda. Bowman will investigate references and write a letter of recommendation for the <br />apparent successful bidder. <br />Task 5 — Construction Observation & Certification <br />Following the award of the bid and the County issuance of the Contractor's Notice to Proceed, Bowman will <br />provide periodic construction observation services to verify that construction complies with the approvals and <br />permit documents. This task shall include attendance of the pre -construction meeting and progress meetings. <br />Upon completion of the project Bowman shall certify construction to the respective permit authorities. <br />Note: This task does not include building inspections (i.e.: plumbing, electrical, threshold, etc.). <br />
