I TO SCOPE OF SERVICES AND SCHEDULE <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL DISTRICT <br />ENGINEEERING SERVICES FOR SOLID WASTE MASTER PLAN <br />Project Understanding <br />The Indian River County Solid Waste Disposal District (SWDD) retained Glace and <br />Radcliffe, Inc. (G&R or Engineer) to prepare a solid waste master plan for Indian River <br />County. As a result of the Engineer's evaluation of the current site, it was determined that <br />an outparcel (NI/W pump) adjoining the north property acquired by the SWDD interferes <br />with the efficient use of the property for solid waste management activities. Therefore, <br />the Engineer has recommended that the County proceed with acquisition of the outparcel. <br />SWDD has indicated that the owner of the property is willing to discuss purchase by the <br />County. <br />Task 17 of the original authorization to the Engineer contemplated additional services <br />required as a result of the master planting activities. Task 17 was unfunded subject to any <br />amendments requested by the County. <br />The County has requested the Engineer accomplish a Phase I environmental audit of the <br />outparcel, along; with retaining Appraisers to develop a value for the property. This <br />amendment number I to the Scope of Services is specific additional services for Task 17, <br />Modred. Task 1.7.0 Additional Services <br />A. Phase I Environmental Audit <br />The Engineer will prepare a Phase I environmental audit of the subject outparcel. The <br />environmental audit will include the following tasks: <br />■ Onsite inspection of the property <br />■ Meeting with property owner to discuss use of site <br />■ Current and past uses of the site and adjoining properties <br />• Water, sanitary and stormwater services <br />■ Site description <br />■ Standard Environmental Records 'Review <br />■ Review of Aerial Photographs <br />■ Title Search <br />
