f <br />40 <br />d. Maintain liaison with State Law Enforcement <br />agencies in order to coordinate and integrate plans <br />for traffic control and the participation of the <br />agencies in law enforcement emergency operations. <br />e. Maintain liaison with the Governor, state <br />departments and agencies, and local law <br />enforcement officials in order to achieve close <br />coordination and cooperation in planning and <br />operations in trouble areas. <br />f. Facilitate the flow of law enforcement information <br />from state organizations to local law enforcement <br />officials. <br />2.3.8 Department of Highway Safety/Motor Vehicles <br />a. Assist other law enforcement agencies in the <br />movement of traffic during an emergency involving <br />hazardous materials. <br />b. Assist other law enforcement agencies in the state to <br />police the affected area. <br />C, Provide security and assist in staffing roadblocks to <br />support county personnel who are involved in <br />emergency response operations. <br />d. Provide communications assistance as required. <br />e. Upon request, the Florida Highway Patrol will assist <br />in the transportation of samples for analysis when <br />immediate analysis is necessary. <br />2.3.5 Game and Fresh Water Fish Commission <br />a. Assess damage to wildlife populations and habitat <br />resulting from a hazardous materials incident. <br />b.
