UTIL (F..ICDC.Wr) :as <br />FOC'I3C <br />STANDARD FORM OF AGRSEMEWT <br />BETWEEN OWNER AND CO TPRACWR <br />ON THE BASIS; OF A TrIPULATED PRIG <br />THIS AGREEMENT, dated the __day of a I in the year <br />2000 by and between Indian River County. a po'itical subdivision of <br />the State of Florida (hereinafter called OiQ&'R) and TREASURK CQAST <br />AcTIM, i,HC, (hereinafter called COWrRACTOR) <br />OWNER and CONTRACTOR, in consideration of the rraatual covenants <br />hereinafter set forth, agree as follows: <br />Article 1. WORK. <br />CONTRACTOR shall complete all work as specified or indicated in the <br />Contract Documents. The work is generally described as follows: <br />Construr-t:ion of approximately 528 L.F. of 12' DIP, 16.122 L.P. of <br />12' PVC, 340 L.P., 8' PVC', 3,056 L.P. of 6' DIP. 79.024 L.F. of 6' <br />PVC, 80 L.F. of 4' DIP and 3,920 L.P. of 4' PVC water main in the <br />Sebastian Highlands Subdivision - Phase 20 from existing water <br />mains local.+gid north of Collier Creek, along with fire hydrants and <br />services. Restore the right-of-ways as close as possible to the <br />pre-cosuot rurt ion condl.t ion or (setter. Construction consists of, <br />but irs uui limited to utilities exploration, coordination with any <br />permitting agencies, trenching, dewatering, installations of pipe <br />with tittings and all appurtenances, restrainers and noil <br />compaction, disinfection, testing (includes providing temporary <br />jumper or another approved method for disinfection and flushing) <br />irrigation repair and traffic control. The PVC pipe shall be C-900 <br />and the DIP pipe shall be pressure class 350 per Indian River <br />County Utility Standards and Specifications (with metal thickness <br />equal or exceeding the Class 50 for under road). The Contractor <br />shall clearly specify the cane used on the bid. <br />CONTRACTOR, as an independent contractor and not as an employee, <br />shall furnish, for the sum amount of $-2.792.657,16, all of the <br />necessary labor, material, and equipment to performthe work <br />described above in accordance= with the Contract Documents. <br />Article 2. ENGINEER. <br />The projecL has been designed by Indian River County Utilities <br />Department, hereinafter called ENGINEER, and who is to act as <br />OWNER'S representative, assume all duties and responsibilities and <br />have the rights and authority assigned to ENGINEER in the Contract <br />Documents in connection with completion of the work in accordance <br />with the Contract Documents. <br />FA -1 <br />
