<br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS
<br />The County is improving 90th Avenue to a 2 -lane rural roadway with paved shoulders between 13th Street SW
<br />and Oslo Road, approximately 3,000 linear feet. Improvements to 13th Street SW between 90th Avenue and
<br />86th Avenue SW are being proposed by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) in conjunction with
<br />the Oslo Road/1-95 interchange improvements. In addition to improving 90th Avenue, Oslo Road will be
<br />improved to a 2 -lane rural roadway with paved shoulders between 90th Avenue and the western terminus of
<br />the FDOT Oslo Road improvements, approximately 1,600 linear feet.
<br />On September 13, 2022, the Board of County Commissioners approved Work Order No. 54 to Kimley-Horn
<br />and Associates, Inc. to provide survey, geotechnical investigation, roadway design, and permitting services
<br />for the proposed roadway improvements to be made to the 90th Avenue and Oslo Road Corridor.
<br />A bid opening for the project was held on April 10, 2024. As summarized below, six (6) responsive bids were
<br />received and opened during a public meeting. A detailed bid tabulation is on file and available for viewing in
<br />the Public Works Engineering Division. Bid totals are as follows:
