14. Removable Media <br />a. The use of removable media for storage of County information must be supported by a <br />reasonable business case. <br />b. All removable media use must be approved by the County Information Technology <br />Department prior to use. <br />c. Personally owned removable media use is not permitted for storage of County <br />information and shall not be interfaced with County information technology resources. <br />d. Personnel are not permitted to connect removable media from an unknown origin <br />without prior approval from the County Information Technology Department. <br />e. Confidential and internal County information should not be stored on removable media <br />without the use of encryption. <br />f. All removable media must be stored in a safe and secure environment. <br />g. The loss or theft of a removable media device that may have contained any County <br />information must be reported to the County Information Technology Department <br />immediately. <br />15. Security Training and Awareness <br />a. All new personnel must complete an approved cybersecurity awareness training prior <br />to, or within 30 days of, being granted access to any County Information technology <br />resources. <br />b. All personnel must be provided with and acknowledge they have received and agree to <br />adhere to the County Information Security Policies before they are granted access to <br />County Information technology resources. <br />c. All personnel must complete the annual security awareness training and any assigned <br />remedial training. <br />16. Social Media <br />a.
