The term "Successful Bidder" <br />means the lowest, qualified, responsible Bidder to whom Owner (on the basis of Owner's <br />evaluation as hereinafter provided) makes an award. <br />��WITSITM 1121MIMM <br />2,1. Complete sets of the Bidding Documents in the number and for tlae deposit sum, if <br />any, stated in the Advertisement or Invitation may be obtained from Engineer (unless <br />another issuing office is designated in the Advertisement or Invitation to Bid). <br />2.2. Complete sets of Bidding Documents shall be used in preparing Fids; neither Owner <br />nor Engineer assume any responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting; from <br />the use of incomplete sets of Bidding; Documents. <br />2.3. Owner and Engineer in making copies of Bidding Documents available oil tlae above <br />terms do so only for the purpose of obtaining Bids on the Work and do not confer a <br />license or grant for any other use. <br />3.1 To demonstrate qualifications to perform tile Work, each Bidder must be prepared <br />to submit within rive days of Owner's written request, art audited financial statement, <br />a list of major pieces of construction equipment owned by the Bidder and <br />documentation demonstrating the Bidder's compliance with the quali fications listed <br />below: <br />a. Bidder must have at least five years' experience in the construction of similar <br />projects of this size and larger. <br />b. Bidder must have successfully constructed, as prime CONTRACTOR, at <br />least three projects similar in scope to this project. <br />C. Bidder must have good recommendations from at least three clients similar <br />to the OWNER. <br />d. The Bidder's superintendent and assistants must be qualified and experienccxl <br />in similar projects in all categories. <br />e. Bidder must he able to provide evidence of authority to conduct business in <br />t1te jurisdiction in which the project is located. <br />3.2 Each bid must contain evidence of Bidder's qualification to do business in the state <br />where the Project is located or covenant to obtain such qualification prior to award <br />of the contract. <br />3.3 The OWNER rescrvcs the right to reject bids from Bidders that are unable to meet <br />the listed reLluired qualifications. <br />M- Mtt"f'7Ai m I0 RtAitIRS <br />a.1 <br />
