Manager <br />Solid Waste Disposal District <br />1325 74d' Avenue SW <br />Vero Beach, FL 32968 <br />Telephone No. 561-770.5113 — Fax No. 561-770-5296 <br />9.0 INDEMNIFICATION <br />9.1 The successful bidder shall indemnify and hold harmless the County from all suits, <br />actions, or claims of any character brought on account of any injuries or damages <br />received or sustained by any person, persons, or property by or from the said <br />successful bidder or by or in consequences of any neglect in safeguarding the work <br />through the use of unacceptable materials or workmanship or by or on account of <br />any activity or omission, neglect or misconduct of the successful bidder or a <br />subcontractor or by or on account of any claims or amounts recovered from any <br />infringement of patent, trademark. or copyright or from any claims or amounts <br />arising or recovered under the -Worker's Compensation Law" or any other law. <br />bylaws, ordinance, order or decree. <br />9.2 The successful bidder shall pay all costs and expenses that may be incurred by the <br />County (1) in enforcing compliance oy the successful bidder with the provisions of <br />this contract, or (2) in defending any proceeding or suit brought against this County <br />for any violation by the successful bidder of any law or ordinance, or (3) in <br />defending any action or suit for which indemnification is required herinunder. If the <br />County shall be, or be made a party to any litigation with respect to any matter <br />arising out of, or related to, this contract as to which the successful bidder is at fault <br />or responsible, the successful bidder shall pay all judgements. decrees and costs, <br />including reasonable attorney's fees, incurred by or imposed upon the County in <br />connection therewith. <br />10.0 BOND REQUIREMENTS <br />Bond requirements, ifany, are detailed in the PART B (Special Provisions). <br />
