10.5 Employees determined by the County to be at risk shall be provided vaccinations for <br />Hepatitis "A " and Triple "T" (Typhoid, Tetanus & Diphtheria). <br />11.1 The union will not be required to represent in a grievance any employee who is not <br />a member of the union. <br />11.2 For the purpose of representing employees in accordance with the provisions of Article <br />24, "Grievance Procedure," the union may designate a maximum of 13 stewards. Each <br />steward will represent employees only in hiAer department or group of departments, <br />as follows; <br />Ama <br />Parks, Recreation <br />Building & Grounds <br />Road & Bridge, Public Works, Engineering <br />Traffic Engineering, Vehicle Maintenance <br />Golf Course <br />Solid Waste/Refuse, Solid Waste Management, <br />Solid Waste Recycling <br />Sewage Treatment <br />Water Production <br />Utility Operations <br />u i + <br />2 <br />2 <br />2 (one per shift) <br />2 (one per shift) <br />1 <br />The union may designate one of the stewards to be the Chief Steward. <br />11.3 The business representative of the union shall notify the Personnel Director, in writing, <br />of the name of the stewards and the areas they are representing, at least three days <br />before they assume duty. if no such notice has been given, the County has no duty to <br />recognize the stewards. <br />11.4 The union steward may represent the union or union members in matters appropriate <br />for grievance handling as set forth in this agreement. Stewards shall not spend time an <br />union business during working hours. Notwithstanding the above, when appropriate <br />and in order to facilitate the scheduling of meetings and resolution of grievances, the <br />County Administrator, in his sole discretion, or his designee may grant time off with <br />pay to a steward to attend grievance hearings or meetings. <br />7 <br />
