11. Concrete Encasement: Measurement of concrete for encasement shall be on the basis
<br />of the number of cubic yards of concrete installed, except that the maximum
<br />allowable quantity of concrete installed shall not exceed the values given below:

<br />I. Asphaltic Pavement Replacement: Measurement of asphalt pavement replacement
<br />shall be computed usi ng the linear feet as measured along the pipe of asphalt
<br />removed and replaced as a result of Contractor's operations. Minimum width of
<br />replacement shall be as described in the specifications or as shown on the plans. Unit
<br />price shall include sawcutting, base and subgrade materials, compaction, etc.
<br />J. Grassing: Measurement of grassing (seed or sod) shall be computed using the linear
<br />feet, as measured along the water main pipe, or grassed area disturbed and restored as
<br />a result of Contractor's operations. 111e entire width of the disturbed area shall be
<br />grassed. Payment shall include all necessary grading, soil preparation, seeding,
<br />sodding, fert ili zer, mulch, and irrigation. 'lltis pay item does not include grassing
<br />over disturbed areas associated with installation of water service. Grassing over
<br />water service will be a part of the pay item for installing water service (sec section F
<br />above).
<br />K. Concrete Curb Replacement: ·n1c Contractor shall provide all labor, materials,
<br />equipment and incidentals necessary for the removal, dis1>osal and replacement of
<br />concrete curb and gutter, as shown on the contract drawings, and as directed by the
<br />Engineer, inc luding but not limit ed to: excavation and disposal of all excess
<br />malcnals, grading and compacting, density testing, providing access to driveways at
<br />all times, constnictmg and maintaining all bridges required for traffic control,
<br />cleaning the site of the work location and protection of utilities, structures, trees,
<br />shrubs and lawns, and all other work required for the complete installation of the
<br />concrete curb and gu tter. The quantity of concrete curb and gutter to be measured for
<br />l shall be the actual number of linear feet, as measured installed within the limits
<br />shown on the drawings. Inc tuut price bid per concrete curb and gutter shall mcludc:
<br />furni shing, installing and compaction of the subgradc course, excavation and di sposal
<br />of ex1stmg subbasc material, grading, disposal of excess material; protection and
