UTIL (EJCDC.FMT) :aa EJCDC STANDARD FORM OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN OWNER AND CONTRACTOR ON THE BASIS OF A STIPULATED PRICE THIS AGREEMENT, dated the ,3<) ~ day of ~ in the year 2000 by and between Indian River County, a political subdivision of the State of Florida (hereinafter called OWNER) and Tri-Sure Corporation (hereinafter called CONTRACTOR). O\'INER and CONTRACTOR, in consideration of the mutual covenants hereinafter set forth, agree as follows: Article 1 . WORK. CONTRACTOR shall complete all work as specified or indicated in the Contract Documents. The work is generally described as follows : Construction of approximately 7,134 L.F. of 12" D .I.P., 3,066 L.F. of 12" PVC , 600 LF of 12" Polyethylene pressure pipe for directional bore, 1 ,564 L.F . of 6 " D.I.P ., 18 ,896 L .F. of 6" PVC , 320 L.F . of 4" D.I.P ., and 11,360 L .F. of 4" PVC water main in the Dixie Heights, Piney Oaks and Dixie Gardens Subdivisions . The proposed system is to connect to existing water mains along Old Dixie Highway, 1 7Lh Street s . W. , 11th Lane S. W. , and 6 th Avenue S. W. Restore the right-of -ways as close as possible to t he pre- construction condition or better. Construction consists of, but is not limited to , utilities e xploration, coordination with any permitting agencies, trenching, dewatering, installation of pipe with fittings and all appurtenances, restrainers and soil compaction, disinfection, testing (includes providing temporary jumper or another approved method for disinfection and flushing) irrigation repair and traffic control. The PVC pipe shall be C- 900, C-905, or C-909 and the DIP pipe shall be pressure class 350 per Indian River County Utility Standards and Specifications (with metal thickness equal or exceeding the Class 50 for under road). The Contractor shall clearly specify the one used on the bid . CONTRACTOR, as an independent contractor and not as an e mployee, shall furnish, for the s um amount of $1,074,351.20, all of the necessary labor , material, and equipment to perform the work described above in accordance with the Contract DocumenLs.
