He said this right-of- <br />way acquisition is an offer by Indian River County to purchase <br />additional road frontage from property owned by himself and his <br />wife for improvements to Oslo Road. Jungle Trail To Be Added to National Register of Historic Places <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of September 16, 1996: <br />MEMO <br />To: Board of County Commissioners <br />From: Fran B. Adams, Chairman <br />Subject: Application for Jungle Trail to be included on National Register of Historic Places <br />Date: September 16, 1996 <br />In 1989, the County Commission endorsed the Historical Society's proposal to nominate Jungle <br />Trail to the National Register. <br />Ruth Stanbridge brought the attached information in asking that the Chairman sign the attached <br />Proposal. The National Register application needs to be submitted before the County can <br />purchase some property for archeological and historic purposes with ISTEA funds. <br />Approval for the Chairman to sign the proposal is requested. <br />SEPTEMBER 17, 1996 14 <br />
