TtilsapplieaeioneaffnotbeprocesNed if this section is not completed.) <br />Because the IIMGPFFMA are federally funded programs, all projects are required to undergo an environmental review as part of the <br />grant application process. Moreover, all projects must comply with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and associated <br />Federal, State, Tribal, and Local statutes to obtain funding, NO WORK can be done prior to the NFFA review process. If work Is <br />done on your proposed project before the NCPA review is completed, It will NOT be eligible for Federal funding. <br />A. National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Documents <br />Ali projects mnsi haveadcquaic NEPA documentation that enabler the FEMA Regional Environmental Officer to detennine ifrhe proposed <br />project complies with NEPA and associared statues. The FEMA Mitigation Division Envirwintenfal Specialists provide comprehensive <br />NEPA technical assistance for Stares and Applicants, svith their consent, to complete the NEPA review.
