Envirunniental ILeview (NOTE: This application cannot be processed ifthis section is not completed.) <br />Because the HMGPIrMA are federally funded programs, all projects are required, to undergo an environmental review as part of tine <br />grant applications process. Moreover, all projects must comply with die National I?nvironmentat Policy Act (NGPA) and associated <br />Federal, State, Tribal, and Ixcal statutes to obtain funding. NO WORK can he done prior to the NEPA review process. If work is <br />done on your proposed project before the NEPA review Is completed, it will NOT be eligible for Fcderal funding. <br />A. National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Documents <br />Allprojecis mist haveadequate NEPA documentation dw enables rhe FEMA Regional Environmental Officerto determine ifahe proposed <br />project complies ivith NEPA and associated statutes, The FEMA M{Ngation Division Environmental Specialists provide comprehensive <br />NEPA technical assistance for Stares and Applicants, ivith their consent, to complete the NEPA review. The type and quantify of NEPA <br />documents required to make this determination varies depending upon the project's size, location, and complexity.
