40 <br />40 <br />4D <br />b preparation of a list of threatened or endangered species observed during the sample <br />events. <br />Task S. Semiannual Monitoring Reports <br />ETC shall prepare six semiannual monitoring reports that include the following information in <br />addition to the data collected as part of Task 1 as described above: <br />b the date of the last maintenance event including a description of the activities which <br />occurred during this event, and the next anticipated date of maintenance; <br />a description of the problems encountered and solutions to be undertaken for each <br />maintenance event; <br />b a list of the wildlife species observed in the scrub and wetland areas of the mitigation site <br />during each sample and maintenance event. <br />ETC shall submit two draft copies of the semiannual monitoring reports to the County for review <br />within 28 days of completion of each field sample event. The County shall submit its comments <br />regarding the semiannual monitoring reports to ETC within seven days of receipt of these reports. <br />ETC shall revise the monitoring reports to reflect the comments received from the County and <br />then shall submit two copies of the revised report to the Florida Department of Environmental <br />Protection and two copies of the revised report to the County. <br />Task G. Maintenance <br />ETC shall inspect the mitigation site on a quarterly basis for the three year period of this contract. <br />ETC shall remove, either manually or by use of herbicides, cattails (Typha spp.), Brazilian pepper <br />(Schinus ierebinlhifolhis), melaleuca (Melaleuca spp.), dog fennel (Eupalorhan capillifolhon), <br />broomsedge (Andropogon virginicus), elderberry (Saurhucus canadensis), and primrose willow <br />(Ludwigia peruviana) plants from the wetland and upland portions of the mitigation site. Upon <br />request by the County, ETC shall remove the above referenced plants from the mitigation site. <br />Task 7. Garbage Clean-up <br />ETC shall inspect the mitigation site twice per year and remove domestic garbage from file site. <br />The County shall place a suitably sized garbage bin on-site, when requested by ETC, for <br />collection of the garbage generated from the mitigation site. The County shall be responsible for <br />final collection of all garbage generated front the mitigation site. ETC shall not be responsible for <br />collection and/or removal of construction debris, white goods, and/or automobiles or automobile <br />parts from the mitigation site. <br />BUDGET <br />The budget for tasks 4 through 7 as defined above will not be altered from its original amount by <br />this addendum, therefore, no additional budget is requested for this portion of the addendum, <br />However. ETC retains the right to request additional funding, subject to approval or disapproval <br />by the County, for work that may occur after 1 January 2001. subject to FDEP approval, if the <br />work is required because of uncontrollable weather circumstances, such as the on-going drought. <br />/Page 4 or 5 <br />
