Davis, P.E <br />Public Works Directo <br />SUBJECT: 1996-97 Waterways Assistance Program Project <br />Environmental Learning Center - IR Project # 96-20 <br />REF. LETTER: David K. Roach, to Jim Davis dated Sept. 12,1996 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Attached for execution by the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners are two <br />original agreements for FIND approved Waterways Assistance Program project(s). FIND <br />has approved a grant to the Environmental Learning Center in the amount of $43,933.00 <br />for Environmental Learning Center Computers and Lighting. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />The following alternatives are presented: <br />Alternative No. 1 <br />Execution of the attached agreements. <br />Alternative No. 2 <br />Deny the Chairman to execute the agreements. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends the Chairman execute the attached agreements. No funding is needed, <br />the project will be funded by the Florida Inland Navigation District. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously approved <br />two agreements for FIND approved Waterways <br />Assistance Program projects (computers & lighting), <br />as recommended in the memorandum. <br />AGREEMENT IS ON FILE <br />IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />43RD AVENUE MPROVEMENTS BETWEEN IST STREET SW & 2ND <br />STREETI - DEVELOPER'S AGREEMENT - DU -19S.
