CJ <br />4D <br />CA <br />CI <br />26.03 ADDITIONAL -MEDICAL LEAVE <br />In deserving cases additional medical leave may be granted with the EMS <br />Chief's approval. <br />26.04 ACCRUAL <br />Medical leave may be accumulated for a total of no more than one - <br />hundred days at the employee's anniversary date. <br />28.05 USE OF MEDICAL LEAVE <br />Medical <br />Leave May Be Granted For The Following Purposes: <br />A. <br />Personal injury, pregnancy or illness not connected with work. <br />B. <br />Medical, dental, optical or chiropractic examination or treatment. <br />(Refer to "26.05 D." for members of employee's family.) <br />C. <br />Exposure to a contagious disease which would endanger others. <br />D. <br />Illness of a member of the employee's immediate family (Section <br />24.021 who lives permanently in the same domicile which requires <br />the personal care and attention of the employee. No more than <br />five working days a year may be taken for this purpose without <br />approval of the EMS Chief. <br />E. <br />Events in accordance with the Family and Medical Leave Act of <br />1993. <br />
