ARTICLE 37 <br />DURATION AND RENEWAL <br />37,01 This agreement shall be in full force and effect from October 1, 2000 <br />through September 30, 2002• This agreement shall continue in effect <br />from year-to-year thereafter unless amended or terminated in the manner <br />hereinafter provided. Either party desiring to amend or terminate this <br />contract shall notify the other party in writing by February 1 of the year <br />in which the contract expires. <br />37,02 If the parties do not reach agreement by contract expiration, the existing <br />terms and conditions shall continue until a new agreement is reached or <br />the impasse is resolved, <br />37.03 RESERVED <br />37.04 The parties acknowledge that during the negotiations that resulted in this <br />agreement, each had the unlimited right to make demands and proposals <br />with respect to any subject or matter not removed by law from the area <br />of collective bargaining. They, therefore, each voluntarily and <br />unqualifiedly waive the right for the term of this agreement to bargain <br />collectively with respect to any matter referred to or covered it..
