C-3 <br />CI <br />i <br />• <br />Attachment A <br />Indian River County, Florida <br />Emergency Services District <br />Sixty f60i Gay Notice of <br />Drug -Free Workplace Program <br />For Local 2201, IAFF Collective Bargaining Unit Employees <br />The District is committed to maintain a safe, healthy, and productive work <br />environment for its employees; to provide professional services for its citizens; to <br />maintain the integrity and security of its equipment and workplace; and to perform all <br />these functions in a fashion consistent with the interests and concerns of the <br />community. <br />The District believes that there is potential for serious consequences to your <br />employment security, and our business, due to drug and alcohol use and/or abuse by <br />employees, which has been shown to increase safety risks and absenteeism while <br />decreasing productivity and quality. <br />Pursuant to the District's philosophy and goals, it is codifying a Drug -Free Workplace <br />Program to ensure that we witl have a drug-free workplace. This program is intended <br />to satisfy the Drug -Free Workplace Program requirements set forth in 440.102, Florida <br />Statutes, and Rule 59A, Florida Administrative Code. <br />
