Individuals can contact the Helpline via phone, email, text message, or online <br />chat when they are in need or experiencing a crisis, and our team of highly trained Resource Center Specialists are <br />always available to offer information, resources, and emotional support to help them overcome their unique challenges. <br />In cases of extreme distress, 211 offers suicide prevention services, providing support in the form of non -judgmental, <br />compassionate listening, crisis de-escalation, and contacting mobile response teams as appropriate. All services are <br />available to any resident of Indian River County without regard to age, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual <br />orientation, religion, income, disability, Veteran status, or any other group status. Those in need can also search our <br />online resource database independently, any time of day or night.
