How do the programs complement <br />Pose ottered by other agencies <br />No similar programs or agencies are offering afterschool and summer camp programming for youth in addition to <br />programming and activities for adults and senior citizens. GYAC provides services in the Gifford community that benefit <br />residents throughout Indian River County. The afterschool program provides educational activities, cultural and <br />recreational activities, character enhancement, and counseling services to students and their families. A focus on <br />education continues during the summer camp program, which provides educational activities in the momings and <br />recreational activities in the afternoon. <br />The Beyond Special K (BSK) Program serves adults and senior citizens and provides weekly educational, recreational, <br />and social activities. In partnership with The Treasure Coast Food Bank and Shining Light Garden, food items are <br />provided to county residents. <br />GYAC's programming and activities are unique from similar organizations in Indian River County. <br />5.
