Traffic.Circulation: <br />*Access <br />The project site is served by three existing driveways, two on <br />SR 60 and one on 58th Avenue. The 58th Avenue driveway, and <br />the westernmost driveway on SR 60, will remain as they <br />presently exist. The existing eastern driveway on SR 60, <br />including the median opening, will be closed. The driveway <br />currently serving Applebee's, which aligns with 53rd Avenue <br />and has a SR 60 median opening that will remain open, will be <br />modified and used as the major SR 60 driveway for the project. <br />The "53rd Avenue driveway" will be a full movement driveway <br />that provides for right -turns in and out of the site, and <br />left -turns in and out of the site. An inbound right turn lane <br />and a left turn lane will be constructed at this entrance. <br />Besides serving Wal-Mart, the realigned driveway will continue <br />to serve Applebee's and undeveloped property to the east of <br />Wal-Mart. Staff has coordinated with Wal-Mart and Applebee's <br />to ensure that the existing Applebee's northernmost connection <br />to the 1153rd Avenue driveway" will be modified to safely <br />accommodate increased traffic along the 1153rd Avenue <br />driveway". <br />The applicant is proposing to signalize the intersection of SR <br />60 and 53rd Avenue, provided that FDOT traffic signal warrants <br />are met. Prior to PD plan release, the developer will need to <br />enter into a developer's agreement to provide a traffic signal <br />at SR 60/53rd Avenue intersection, when warranted. It should <br />be noted that the SR 60/53rd Avenue intersection may not meet <br />43 <br />OCTOBER 1, 1996 <br />I <br />
