BOOK <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Macht, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board approved staff's <br />recommendation, as it stands, by a 3-1 vote <br />(Chairman Adams voting in opposition and <br />Commissioner Bird absent), and adopted Ordinance <br />96-20, amending the Zoning Ordinance and the <br />accompanying zoning map from CL to PD for <br />approximately 6.19 acres. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 96- 20 <br />99 PAGE 393 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING <br />THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP FROM <br />CL TO PD FOR APPROXIMATELY 6.19 ACRES OF LAND GENERALLY <br />LOCATED BETWEEN STATE ROAD 60 AND THE MAIN RELIEF CANAL, <br />EAST OF 58TH AVENUE; AND DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND PROVIDING <br />FOR EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />1, <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the <br />local planning agency on such matters, has held a public hearing <br />and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this rezoning <br />request; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, did publish and send its Notice of Intent to <br />rezone the hereinafter described property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that <br />this rezoning is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan of Indian <br />River County, and the county land development regulations, <br />including but not limited to the Planned Development (PD) Process <br />and Standards for Development chapter; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, in conjunction with the rezoning request has approved a PD <br />conceptual plan (see EXHIBIT B, attached) that controls and <br />regulates development on the subject land; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has held a public <br />hearing pursuant to this rezoning request, at which parties in <br />interest and citizens were -heard; <br />60 <br />OCTOBER 1, 1996 <br />
