CONSULTANT will compile review findings, alternatives suggested, and a workshop <br />summary into Draft Module 4: Drinking Water Supply and Treatment Alternatives. This <br />module will contain: <br />Descriptions of alternatives presented with pros and cons of each. <br />Comparison of costs, operations and maintenance demands, and layouts for <br />each alternative. <br />• A review of the MCDA exercise and the selected alternative. <br />CONSULTANT will provide Module 4 as a draft only as part of this task. COUNTY <br />review comments will be tracked in an Excel spreadsheet and incorporated into the Pre - <br />Final and Final versions of the IWMP to be compiled in Task 7.4. <br />5.4 Drinking Water Distribution Alternatives Development <br />5.4.1 Drinking Water Distribution Alternatives Development <br />CONSULTANT will investigate alternatives for improvements to the COUNTY's potable <br />water distribution system with regards to the following: <br />• Asset risk <br />• Hydraulics and system pressures <br />• Expansion and capacity improvements <br />• Water age and maintenance of water quality <br />CONSULTANT will evaluate alternatives for areas with potential for improvements <br />based on the results of the potable water hydraulic model (Task 3.3) and interviews with <br />COUNTY staff. <br />CONSULTANT will size piping, pumping, and storage alternatives based on the 50 -year <br />growth horizon as well as any areas where future expansion is planned. CONSULTANT <br />will develop high-level project descriptions, site layouts, Class V cost estimates, and life <br />cycle cost analyses for each alternative. <br />5.4.2 Drinking Water Distribution Alternatives Workshop (4 hours, in-person) <br />CONSULTANT will facilitate a four-hour in-person workshop to discuss review findings <br />and alternatives developed for drinking water distribution. CONSULTANT and COUNTY <br />will review the high-level alternative descriptions, layouts, and cost estimates developed <br />by the CONSULTANT. Workshop will include a collaborative MCDA exercise in which <br />the CONSULTANT and the COUNTY will develop evaluation criteria, weight evaluation <br />criteria, use these criteria to determine the most favorable alternative to be further <br />developed. <br />5.4.3 Draft IWMP Module 5: Drinking Water Distribution Alternatives <br />CONSULTANT will compile review findings, alternatives suggested, and a workshop <br />summary into Draft Module 5: Drinking Water Distribution Alternatives.
