Of those who responded, 50% selected <br />“Commercial,” 30% selected “Industrial,” and 20% selected “Office.” <br />A second question asked, “Where do you envision new or redeveloped economic development opportunities going in the <br />County?” Respondents were invited to provide open-ended responses to this question. 173 respondents answered the <br />question. A summary of the responses is provided. <br />People suggest various locations for economic development opportunities in Indian River County. Several people mention <br />the need for industrial and commercial development, particularly in the west of the County, near I-95 and Route 60. There <br />PAGE 75
