If the County reaches its highest estimated growth population, what is your top concern? <br />2. What does the County need less of? <br />3. What does the County need more of? <br />Highest Estimated Growth <br />“Congestion” and “Sprawl” tied for the second most common answer when attendees were asked for their top concerns <br />related to the County reaching its maximum growth potential. <br />More Of <br />When asked what the county needed more of, the top response was “Affordable housing.” <br />Ranking <br />The community at in-person workshops ranked Housing as the third highest priority out of the six elements they were <br />asked to rank. <br />Thought Wall <br />On the Thought Wall activity, attendees generally provided the following: <br />◊ Affordable housing: Must be a top priority. A new approach is needed. Lower-cost areas should have high access <br />to transit. The diversity of housing options must increase. Affordable senior living areas and workforce housing <br />should be encouraged or incentivized, and accessory dwelling units should be considered. <br />◊ Plan for housing the homeless <br />◊ Explore mitigating or reducing trailer parks <br />PAGE 82
