Additionally, all Sub -Recipients are required to comply with DHS/FEMA EHP Policy Guidance, FEMA <br />Policy #108-023-1. <br />Some training and exercise activities require Environmental and Historic Preservation (EHP) Review, <br />including exercises, drills or trainings that require any type of land, water, or vegetation disturbance or <br />building of temporary structures or that are not located at facilities designed to conduct training and <br />exercises. A thorough, detailed description of projects listed under these categories shall be required in <br />order to determine allowability. Additional information on training requirements and EHP review can be <br />found online at Environmental & Historic Preservation Guidance for FEMA Grant Applications <br />FEMA.gov. Once the grant agreement has been executed by both parties the EHP Screening Form <br />shall be submitted to the Division within forty-five (45) days. <br />EHP SCREENING FORM SUBMISSION <br />For projects requiring EHP review, the Sub -Recipient shall submit the EHP Screening Form to the <br />State Administrative Agency (SAA) for review prior to funds being expended. Sub -Recipient's shall receive written approval from the SAA prior to the use of grant funds for <br />project implementation.
