Airport Zoning Ordinance Regulations: The proposed 300' tower <br />would extend into one of the county's "height notification <br />zones." Pursuant to the county's height notification and <br />other airport zoning ordinance regulations, the applicant has <br />been notified that it must file a notice of proposed <br />construction form with the FAA (Federal Aviation <br />Administration), obtain the FAA's determination and comments <br />on the proposed tower, and obtain from county staff either an <br />"airport construction permit" or an "airport obstruction <br />variance". At this time, the applicant has stated to staff <br />that the appropriate notification information has been filed <br />with the FAA. The applicant has acknowledged that, upon <br />receipt of the FAA's determination, it will apply for a county <br />"airport construction permit". Prior to site plan release, <br />the applicant must obtain a county "airport construction <br />permit" or "airport construction variance". <br />7. Building Area: 432 sq. ft. (unmanned, electrical equipment <br />building) <br />8. Traffic Circulation: The site is to be accessed from 12th <br />Street via a private driveway that will serve the tower site <br />only. The driveway will be placed in an ingress/egress access <br />easement that will traverse the Kids Krusade site and connect <br />the Bell South Mobility lease area to 12th Street. Prior to <br />site plan -release, the applicant must have the easement <br />recorded in the public records.
