INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />Population Projections <br />As part of this effort, population projections found in Table 2 were developed through the year 2050. These <br />projections are based on estimates from the University of Florida's Bureau of Business and Economic <br />Research (BEBR), historic population trends, and estimates for seasonal population. A large <br />.amok proportion of the population of the Study Area are no longer within the labor force, which may be attributed <br />to an older population with more retired individuals living on fixed incomes.
