Measurement and Payment <br />(' 1. <br />Work under this contract will be paid on a unit price or lump sum basis as outlined on <br />the Bid Form for the quantity of work installed. <br />3' 2. <br />Measurement shall be in accordance with the Florida Department of Transportation <br />Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction unless otherwise provided <br />in the Technical Provisions. <br />t <br />3. <br />Any pay items for which a specific item is not included shall be included in the price <br />1: <br />of the pay item to which it pertains or is associated. <br />4. <br />Any items not shown or omitted that are required for a complete installation shall be <br />t <br />furnished and installed by the CONTRACTOR at no additional cost to the OWNER. <br />( 5. <br />The prices shall include all labor, materials, tools, equipment required to complete the <br />( <br />work. <br />6. <br />No additional payment will be made for well pointing or other methods of dewatering <br />t <br />excavations. <br />7. <br />Payment for repair and replacement of existing utilities will be included in the unit <br />t-- <br />price or lump sum bid amount for the related new construction bid item. <br />T. Engineering and Layout <br />t <br />1. <br />Engineering and layout work shall comply with Section 5-7 of the "Standard <br />Specifications". <br />2. <br />Construction Staking. <br />The CONTRACTOR will furnish all construction staking for the project. All staking <br />t <br />from control will be under the supervision of a Florida Registered Land Surveyor. <br />i.: <br />3. <br />Payment. <br />1... <br />The cost ofperforming engineering and layout work described above shall be included <br />in the contract unit prices for the various items of work to which it is incidental.
