40 <br />® wording and format as presented in these Contract Documents will be <br />provided to the OWNER's Risk Manager for review and approval. <br />The certificates shall provide for the following: <br />5.3.2.1.1. "Board of County Commissioners, Indian River County <br />t <br />Florida" will be named as "Additional Insured" on both the <br />General Liability, Auto Liability and Builder's Risk "All Risk" <br />l Insurance. <br />1 <br />5.3.2.1.2. The OWNER will be given thirty (30) days notice prior to <br />cancellation or modification of any stipulated insurance. Such <br />notification will be in writing by registered mail, return receipt <br />requested and addressed to the OWNER's Risk Manager. <br />5.3.2.2. An appropriate "Indemnification" clause shall be made a provision of <br />the contract (see paragraph 6.36 and 6.37 of the General Conditions). <br />j <br />I 5.3.2.3. It is the responsibility of the CONTRACTOR to insure that all <br />subcontractors comply with all insurance requirements. <br />5.3.2.4. It should be remembered that these are minimum requirements which <br />are subject to modification in response to high hazard operation. <br />5.3.2.5. Insured must be authorized to do business and have an agent for <br />service of process in Florida and have an "A" policyholder's rating <br />and financial rating of a least Class XI in accordance with the most <br />current Best's Rating. <br />ARTICLE 6 - CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br />Supervision and Superintendence: <br />6.1 CONTRACTOR shall supervise and direct the Work competently and efficiently, devoting <br />such attention thereto and applying such skills and expertise as may be necessary to perform <br />the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents. CONTRACTOR shall be solely <br />responsible for the means, methods, techniques, sequences and procedures of construction, <br />L, but CONTRACTOR shall not be responsible for the negligence of others in the design or <br />' selection of specific means, methods, techniques, sequences or procedures of construction <br />which is indicated in and required by the Contract Documents. CONTRACTOR shall be <br />responsible to see that the finished Work complies accurately with the Contract Documents. <br />i <br />L 6.2 CONTRACTOR shall keep on the Work at all times during its progress a competent resident <br />superintendent, who shall not be replaced without written notice to OWNER and ENGINEER <br />except under extraordinary circumstances. The superintendent will be CONTRACTOR's <br />j� representative at the site and shall have authority to act on behalf of CONTRACTOR. All <br />communications given to the superintendent shall be as binding as if given to <br />L <br />GENERAL. CONDITIONS <br />GC12 <br />
