EXHIBIT A - SCOPE OF WORK <br />It is our understanding that the COUNTY intends to demolish the existing sidewalk system located <br />within the 43rd Avenue rights-of-way between 45th Street and 49th Street in Vero Beach, Florida, and <br />replace with a new 6 -foot -wide sidewalk system. The total length of the project area (including both <br />sides) is approximately 5,000 linear feet. We further understand drainage improvements, by means of <br />swale regrading and culverting, will be required where the proposed 6 -foot sidewalk impacts the <br />existing ROW swales / drainage system. In addition, pursuant to coordination and direction from <br />COUNTY staff, it is understood no COUNTY, SIRWMD or other agency permitting is required due to the <br />nature of the improvement. Finally, we understand that this project is an LAP project, FM No. 452995- <br />1-58-01, and that COUNTY will provide all Surveying services and other documents as required for the <br />submission to FDOT. A description of each service under this work order is provided below in further <br />detail. <br />Task 1— Initial Phase (30%) <br />A. County Coordination <br />The CONSULTANT will coordinate with the COUNTY Surveyor to coordinate the scheduling of <br />the existing conditions survey. The existing conditions survey must be completed and provided <br />to MBV in CAD format prior to any Civil design commencing. This task also includes the initial <br />coordination needed with COUNTY MPO staff during this phase <br />B. Construction Plans <br />The CONSULTANT will prepare 30% design drawings for the proposed improvements to include <br />the following: Cover Sheet, Existing Conditions Plan (Survey provided by COUNTY), Demolition <br />Plan, Site Plan, Typical Section Plan, Grading and Drainage Plan. <br />C. County Review & Plan Revisions <br />The CONSULTANT will attend one (1) progress review meeting with COUNTY staff to review the <br />30% design plans. A single set of review comments shall be provided to CONSULTANT prior to, <br />during or after the review meeting, as applicable. This task includes one revision to plans from <br />the COUNTY review within reasonable scope of the project. <br />D. MOT Review & Plan Revisions <br />The CONSULTANT will attend one (1) virtual (Teams/Zoom) progress review meeting with FDOT <br />staff to review the 30% design plans. A single set of review comments shall be provided to <br />CONSULTANT prior to, during or after the review meeting, as applicable. This task includes <br />revisions to plans from the FDOT review within reasonable scope of the project. <br />E. Engineer's Estimate <br />The CONSULTANT will produce an Engineer's Estimate for the 30% design plans milestone. The <br />cost estimate shall be prepared utilizing the FDOT Engineers Estimate form. <br />
