mom �Au 677 <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve Mr. <br />Zervalis' request for a one year extension of the conditional site <br />plan approval, with all original site plan approval conditions to <br />remain in effect. The new site plan expiration date will be June <br />23, 1997. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Tippin, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved <br />the request of Peter Zervalis for a one year <br />extension of the conditional site plan approval, <br />with all original site plan approval conditions to <br />remain in effect, expiring June 23, 1997, as <br />recommended by staff. <br />D. Vitunac, County Attorney <br />DATE: October 30, 1996 <br />RE: CANCELLATION OF OUTSTANDING TAXES <br />PROPERTY PURCHASED FOR COUNTY USE <br />The County recently acquired some property and, pursuant to Section <br />196.28, Florida Statutes, the Board of County Commissioners is allowed <br />to cancel and discharge any taxes owed on the portion of the property <br />acquired for public purposes. Such cancellation must be done by <br />resolution of the Board with a certified copy being forwarded to the Tax <br />Collector and copies sent to the Property Appraiser. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: Board authorize the Chairman to sign the <br />attached resolutions cancelling taxes upon lands the County recently <br />acquired. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Tippin, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 96-136 cancelling certain delinquent <br />taxes upon publicly owned lands, pursuant to Section <br />196.28, Florida Statutes (Dodgertown, Inc. - 26th <br />Street and 58th Avenue R/W). <br />NOVEMBER 12, 1996 12 <br />
