Board of County Commissioners Meeting Minutes - Final February 25, 2025 <br />Appointee), and Mark Mucher (District 5 Appointee). <br />Commissioner Earman requested holding off on the reappointment of Todd Brognano <br />who had served a number of years. He did not have a replacement in mind, but <br />preferred to review new applicants and address the appointment at the next BCC <br />meeting. Commissioner Moss made no changes to her District 5 Appointee. <br />Chairman Flescher confirmed that Mr. Reams and Mr. Mucher were up for <br />reappointment. The Member at Large position would be considered at the next <br />meeting. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Earman, seconded by Commissioner Moss, <br />to approve the reappointment of the District 3 and 5 Appointees to the Planning <br />and Zoning Commission. The motion carried by the following vote: <br />Aye: 3- Commissioner Adams, Commissioner Earman, and Commissioner Moss <br />Nay: 2 - Chairman Flescher, and Vice Chairman Loar <br />Tourist Development Council members Will Collins (Owner/Operator of Motel, <br />Hotel, RV Park or Other Tourist Accommodation Representative) and Amanda <br />Smalley (Involved in the Tourist Industry and is Interested in Tourist Development) <br />were up for renewal of another four-year term. <br />A motion was made by Vice Chairman Loar, seconded by Commissioner Adams, <br />to approve the reappointments to the Tourist Development Council. The motion <br />carried by the following vote: <br />Aye: 5 - Chairman Flescher, Vice Chairman Loar, Commissioner Adams, Commissioner <br />Earman, and Commissioner Moss <br />U.C. 25-0289 Code Enforcement Board Member Appointment <br />Recommended Action: The County Attorney recommends that the Board review the applicant's application <br />and determine whether to appoint him to fill the unexpired term for the "Architect" to <br />the Code Enforcement Board. <br />Attachments: Staff Report <br />Application - VetromileDonald-trev (ceb) <br />Resume - VetromileDonald-trey <br />County Attorney Jennifer Shuler informed that Mr. Donald "Trey" F. Vetromile had <br />applied for the vacant position of Architect on the Code Enforcement Board. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Adams, seconded by Chairman Flescher, <br />to approve the appointment of Donald F. Vetromile to the Code Enforcement <br />Board in the position of Architect. The motion carried by the following vote: <br />Indian River County, Florida Page 17 <br />
