Staff further recommends the Board approve the sample <br />agreement and authorize the Chairman to execute said agreement after review and <br />approval of both the agreement and required Public Construction Bond by the County <br />Attorney as to form and legal sufficiency, and the receipt and approval of required <br />insurance by the Risk Manager. <br />Attachments: Sample Agreement <br />Commissioner Moss stated she did not support the Item because the width of the <br />buffered bicycle lanes would be six -feet wide instead of seven -feet wide as <br />recommended by the Florida Department of Transportation. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Adams, seconded by Chairman Flescher, <br />to approve staffs recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: <br />Aye: 4- Chairman Flescher, Vice Chairman Loar, Commissioner Adams, and Commissioner <br />Earman <br />Nay: 1 - Commissioner Moss <br />9.F. 25-0697 Award of Bid No. 2025037, Indian River County Shooting Range Pavement <br />Improvements, IRC -2413 <br />Recommended action: Staff recommend the project be awarded to Heavy Civil, Inc. in the amount of <br />$469,387.65. Staff further recommends the Board approve the sample agreement <br />and authorize the Chairman to execute said agreement after review and approval of <br />Indian River County, Florida Page 4 <br />
