The County shall assist property <br />owners of historically significant housing in applying for and using available state and federal assistance <br />programs. <br />Policy 8.2: The eCounty shall maintain and implement its Historic and archeological resource protection <br />Ordinance. , <br />New Policy 8.3: The County shall encourage the continued identification, analysis, and preservation of <br />the County's historical resources. Such efforts may include determination of their significance and <br />vulnerability, as well as implementation of historic preservation management policies. <br />New Policy 8A The County shall assist in the rehabilitation and adaptive reuse of historically significant <br />housing through available technical and economic assistance programs. These efforts shall be <br />coordinated with the State Division of Historical Resources (DHR). <br />Objective 9: SBI , Indian River County will have continue to engage in interlocal agreements with <br />the municipalities within the eCounty to provide housing assistance to very low-, low-, and moderate - <br />income households as well as ensure local jurisdictions are able to provide sufficient affordable housing. <br />Policy 9.2: ' <br />their- share of cou-PAy housing needs7 The County shall enter interlocal agreements with any county <br />municipality which, because of unusually high property values or coastal high hazard area constraints <br />cannot meet its affordable housing needs within its jurisdiction, and desires to contribute to the Housing <br />Trust Fund.
