23. The Contractor shall abide by the requirements and provide landfill services consistent with <br />the current FDEP Class I Landfill Operating Permit (5031-128769-018) and a Title V Air <br />Operation Permit (No. 0610015 -003 -AV), as amended or renewed in the future, and other <br />State and Federal permits for water and air quality, and all local Indian River County <br />ordinances. <br />4.2 Ancillary Services: <br />The Contractor shall be responsible for the professional operation, management, and <br />maintenance of other Ancillary Servies as designated below. All activities, actions, and <br />requirements associated with the proper operation and maintenance of these activities shall be <br />the responsibility of the Contractor unless specifically excluded in this Agreement or any <br />Amendments to this Agreement. In general, the Contractor responsibilities include: <br />1. Providing personnel and equipment necessary to effectively perform these Ancillary <br />Services. A Staffing and Equipment plan shall be provided to the SWDD for approval and <br />updated when any changes occur or are suggested. The SWDD shall not unreasonably <br />withhold, condition or delay its approval of Staffing and Equipment plans or any changes <br />or updates to such plans. <br />4.2.1 Warehouse Facility <br />The Warehouse Facility is contiguous with the SWDD Administration Building and is provided for <br />the use of the Contractor for the various equipment identified below as well as general <br />maintenance items. <br />1. Provide ice machine for landfill operations. <br />2. Purchase, install, operate, and maintain a new vertical air compressor. The air compressor <br />will become the SWDD property at the end of the Agreement. <br />3. Purchase, install and maintain a new eye -wash station. <br />4. Maintain fixed base and portable generators to include monthly tests, refueling as needed, <br />and documentation of run time as per the Title V Permit requirements. <br />5. Maintain proper storage and general upkeep of the facility. <br />4.2.2 Material Recycling Facility (MRF) <br />The MRF receives recyclables from the County's "Curb Side Pickup" program as well as from the <br />five "Customer Convenience Centers", businesses, and residents that use the Indian River County <br />Landfill facilities. The Contractor is responsible for coordinating with the SWDD vendor for the <br />collection and removal of MRF Recyclables. <br />1. Maintenance, management, and general upkeep of single stream recyclables storage <br />area. <br />2. Sorting, placement, stacking, separation, loading, and unloading materials. <br />3. Provide semi-annual cleaning services for the big -top tent which is utilized for the <br />storage of the single stream recyclables. <br />4. Provide quarterly pressure -washing services for the MRF operations to include all the <br />bays. <br />Indian River County Landfill Operating Agreement Final Page 8 of 42 <br />
