Agreement and annually thereafter, the Contractor shall ensure that all parking lot storm <br />drains are cleaned out using a vac -truck; that all other stormwater conveyances on the <br />primary landfill site (between C-5 and C-6 canals) drain to the main stormwater pond. The <br />Contractor shall dredge and certify that there is positive drainage from the high point to the <br />low point of the main stormwater pond. Maintenance and management of all stormwater <br />infrastructures include stormwater pond and leachate system. This includes all conveyance <br />channels and ditches. <br />17. The Contractor shall comply with all Federal, State and Local laws, ordinances, and regulations, <br />including the rules and regulations of the EPA and the State of Florida Department of <br />Environmental Protection (FDEP). The Contractor shall ensure all work is performed in <br />compliance with all FDEP rules and regulations; maintaining all pertinent records for work <br />performed and FDEP required documentation; coordinate and assist with FDEP inspections <br />and request for information. <br />18. The Contractor shall control access to the Class I Landfill area and cooperate with SWDD to <br />facilitate third party services such as ground and surface water monitoring, methane <br />monitoring, operation and maintenance of the Landfill Gas Collection and Control System, <br />operation of the Yard Waste Facility, Biosolids Facility, the Leachate Evaporation System, and <br />the weighing of solid waste. <br />19. The Contractor shall coordinate for and/or provide deterrence, depredation, and trapping <br />activities for vectors and vermin on the Indian River County Landfill site including but not <br />limited to wild dogs, wild hogs, vultures, crows, seagulls, and any other vectors or vermin that <br />affect the operation of the landfill or landfill activities. All vector and vermin control activities <br />must be approved by SWDD prior to implementation. The Contractor is responsible for the <br />repair of any damage done by vermin or vectors to the Class I Landfill area and the entire <br />Indian River County Landfill Site. Vector and vermin control. The Contractor to provide <br />licensed hog trapping/removal services for the safe operations of the facility. <br />20. The Contractor shall furnish all equipment, supplies, and labor required for cleaning <br />Contractor's portion of buildings and facilities made available for the Contractor's use on the <br />Indian River County Landfill site. SWDD or the County shall clean the portions of the <br />Administration Building occupied by the SWDD staff and all County -Contractor shared areas <br />in the Administration building. Work areas shall be cleaned and swept daily at a minimum. <br />Wastes shall be removed daily. <br />21. The Contractor shall be responsible for paying for electrical usage, water usage, maintaining <br />the on-site fuel tanks, and providing fuel and lubricants to support its operations at its own <br />expense. <br />22. The Contractor shall provide routine operation engineering and surveying as required to <br />operate a Class I Landfill. <br />Indian River County Landfill Operating Agreement Final Page 7 of 42 <br />
