ARTICLE 28 <br />SALARIES <br />28.01 The pay range for Battalion Chiefs employed with the County during FY 2024-25 <br />shall be $98,076.16 to $147,114.24. <br />28.02 The six percent (6.0%) wage increases previously provided to bargaining unit <br />employees effective the beginning of FY 2024-25 shall remain undisturbed. <br />28.03 All non -topped out bargaining unit employees, who have not already received a pay <br />progression anniversary increase in FY 2024-25, shall receive a two -and -one-half percent (2.5%) <br />wage increase on their respective individual pay progression anniversary date with the County. <br />28.04 All non -topped out bargaining unit employees shall receive an additional, <br />retroactive four percent (4.0%) wage increase effective with the first full pay period beginning on <br />or after October 1, 2024 . <br />28.05 The parties agree that all bargaining unit members will continue to be selected and <br />compensated for all unscheduled actual work performed by them with the County in accord with <br />the County's existing practice as of July 2, 2025. <br />28.06 It is agreed and understood that pay ranges and wage increases of any kind after <br />September 30, 2025 shall be established through the collective bargaining process based solely on <br />implementation of a new collective bargaining agreement for Fiscal Year 2025-26 (and subsequent <br />Fiscal Years), and where required, the statutory impasse resolution process. <br />39 <br />
