BUTLER, CLERK <br />ARTICLE 22 <br />TRANSFERS <br />22.01 Employees may be allowed, at the discretion of the Fire Chief or designee, to transfer <br />between combat, fire prevention, and administrative training, rank to rank, if a vacancy <br />exists, provided the employee has the minimum qualifications for the position. In such a <br />case, the employee shall be paid at the same pay step in the day shift pay plan <br />commensurate with the position to which the employee has been transferred. <br />22.02 Bargaining unit employees may be transferred, at the discretion of the Fire Chief or <br />designee, to any fire rescue position and/or shift within the Department. In such a case, <br />the employee shall be paid at the same pay step in the applicable pay plan commensurate <br />with the position to which the employee has been transferred. <br />.o <br />
