Pay under this <br />paragraph cannot be converted to compensatory time. <br />D. No employee will be called back to work during the employee's vacation <br />period, unless an extreme emergency has been declared. <br />1. An employee's vacation period will begin on the instant the <br />employee finishes the last hour of regularly scheduled work. <br />2. An employee's vacation period will end on the first hour of the <br />employee's scheduled return to work date. <br />3. In the event an employee is called back from vacation out of town, <br />the District will assume all costs involved in transporting the <br />employee to and from the vacation site. <br />31.04 DISTRIBUTION OF FIRE PREVENTION ADDITIONAL HOURS <br />All distribution of additional hours will be in accordance with Departmental Policy. Such <br />policy will be created and updated for operational need by administration. In the event that mutual <br />agreement cannot be reached, the Fire Chief retains the management right to make a final <br />determination. <br />59 <br />
