We understand that the
project entails the design and construction of approximately 4,000 linear feet of concrete sidewalk
along 43rd Avenue from 6th Street to 12th Street. The purpose of our field-testing program is to
explore shallow soils and groundwater levels in the vicinity of the proposed sidewalk and to obtain
thickness measurements of the existing pavement materials (asphalt, base material and stabilized
subgrade) at the various locations on 431d Avenue.
The following summarizes the proposed scope of work and associated fees for conducting the
subject exploration.
FIELD EXPLORATION
Based provided information, our field exploration will be performed within existing residential
roadways with heavy traffic volume. Therefore, maintenance of traffic (MOT) is necessary to
perform the requested field exploration, and we have estimated one (1) day of MOT.
Description
Number and Type
Depth Below
of Borings
Ground Surface (feet)
Proposed Concrete Sidewalk Areas
15 Augers
6
Existing Shoulders
4 Pavement Cores
NA
460 NW Concourse Place, Unit 1, Port St. Lucie, Florida 34986 Phone (772) 878-0072 Fax (772) 878-0097
Florida: Bartow, Cocoa, Fort Myers, Miami, Orlando, Port St. Lucie, Sarasota, Tallahassee, Tampa, West Palm Beach
Louisiana: Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Shreveport
Texas: Houston
