BOOK 99 Fx A041 <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Macht, to approve Amendment No. 4 with <br />Kimley-Horn in the amount of $43,400 and Option No. <br />1, the medians to be landscaped without sod. <br />Under discussion, Commissioner Tippin favored going ahead with <br />the landscaping but preferred using sod instead of pavers (Option <br />2) . <br />COMMISSIONERS EGGERT AND MACHT WITHDREW THEIR MOTION to <br />approve Option 1. <br />Public Works Director Jim Davis explained that staff's <br />recommendation was based on the high traffic environment, the tight <br />right-of-way, and the risk factor encountered during construction. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Tippin, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Ginn, the Board unanimously approved <br />Amendment No. 4 with Kimley-Horn in the amount of <br />$43,400 and Option No. 2, the use of sod. <br />37TH STREET IMPROVEMENTS - U.S.#1 TO I.R.
